if you liked the thieves...

Then you should have a look at 'The Fine Line'.
Nate Holmes Trapnell had a real nice piece up at 40 Thieves, so chances are this will be awesome. Go check it out if you like hotrods, tattoo's, graffiti, and fineliner pens (artline FTW).

saturday

Went for a small cruise at Flem to check out the new quarter thats been built, and just hung around chatting with Mr. Tough. Washing was to be hung.
New piece of concrete art. Props to its creator (thumbs up).

Tuck them knee's in! I think it's safe to say I was still getting used to it at this stage.
When panic bites, you don't want to be around.
Worn a hole through my grips...Again. GTYG report up sometime. Very annoyed!
I went for a drive with Alex.
Ganstuh fast and the furious style.

Bargain

$1 'nuts from our friends at 711. I can say that is is possibly one of the greatest deals of all time, and I speak from experience when I say that $3 worth will fill you up very nicely. I even contemplated buying four and saving one for breakfast. They do need to load up on the jam though, there was only a tiny pouch of jam in my chocolate frosted jammie, and I happen to have found it in the very first bite, leaving me with a jamless hunk of dough.

I think this deal is up there with the Snack Box, and the 2-for-1 Whoppers for $4.50 or so...Opinions?

Tonight

How exciting! from my previous experiences, they'll host a real good show.

I think I'll go on Monday. I thought the opening night was later on, but it turned out to be last night!

Smooth.

Odyssey Aaron Ross Sig.

Lasted 25 days (About 3 weeks and a bit).
Once these grips were on, they felt pretty good. I don't mind a bit of a chunkier grip, and these were certainly that. Way bigger than my old Mutinys, in fatness and length. These grips have caused a bit of a fuss in the BMx world, and I can see why. First off, they throttled like no other grip I've run. I doubt it was the way I put them on, because all my other grips stay fine with the WD40 method. The little keys on the grips started ripping on my first ride with them, by the end of the 25 days I lost a couple keys, and they started developing into holes, which the throttling didn't help. They felt good for the first hour or so riding them, but that's it, everything else was very much a let down.

Comfort: 6/10
Durability: 3/10

GTKYG; Mutiny Handjobs

So I've decided to review all the pairs of grips that I seem to chew through every couple weeks, highlighting the pro's and con's of these pieces of rubber that we grip with our hands, on our BMX bicycles.

Mutiny Handjobs.

Lasted about 10 weeks, which is very decent.
I really liked these grips, they didn't take very long to break-in, and once they were worn a tad, they felt truely awesome. The little ridges/lines that make up the grip tore off pretty easilly, and at about the 5 week mark I switched them up, so LHS of the right, vice versa. Once all the lines/ridges ripped off, the grip was still decent even though they were bare. Sadly, I ripped a huge hole in them one night, which had been developing over a couple days. So 10 weeks owned, probably about 25+ rides, pretty decent figures!

Comfort: 9/10
Durability: 7/10

Low

{Aliiix}'s KE is now lower. Cool picture I think.

900 odd km's

I got a new car. Totally stoked on it, great condition inside and out, runs fantastic, low km's for it's make and model, great price, and the previous owner is a car-nut (even better, a VW nut), so we know that it was in good hands. What makes it even more interesting, is that in the service log, the original owner used to live about 5 minutes drive from where I live in Melb.
Only downside to this car, was that it was located in NSW.
So, I went to the airport on Saturday morning.

Bit of reading to pass the 1.5 hours on the plane. Top Gear ended up being more interesting.

*Insert photos of meeting Dad at Sydney airport, driving to car, buying car, watching Super 14 at the RSL, and then driving for about 2 hours out to Goulburn.
Dad and I arrive at some motel at about 12am, in bloody Goulburn.

The VR6 on a foggy Sunday morning at about 7am, about to commence a days driving. Could so drag the WRX next to it.

Kodak Moment at the Big Merino of Goulbern.

This is what was around me for about 7 hours. This, alot of dead animals on the side of the road. R.I.P. Animals.

Vroom Vroom. I quite like the tinted lights of the VR.

The Dog on the Tucker Box was a huge hit with the tourists, they even have a festival in November for this monument. Anyone interested? This was the best thing Gundagai had on offer.

Only 168km's to Melbs. Driving for so long is boring, lucky Dad and I switched it up evey now and then.

Roadtrip Munchies, pastie @ Euroa (I think).

And that's it! Decent journey, and having a bit of a road trip with Dad wasn't so bad!
